ADN/BSN Concurrent 项目

的 Concurrent Enrollment Associate of Applied Science/Baccalaureate Degree 护理 program allows qualified associate degree nursing students to earn a Bachelor of Science in 护理 (BSN) from Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University or Grand Canyon University while pursuing their associate degree in nursing (ADN) at Pima. Grand Canyon University also offers a Master of Science in 护理 (MSN) option.

的 Concurrent Enrollment 程序 (CEP) provides an affordable course of study that, followed in sequence, enables students to complete their BSN degree concurrently with their associate degree. 

Students enrolled in the program will follow the traditional course of study for all PCC students pursuing their associate degree in nursing, but at the same time they also will be enrolled in required university nursing courses. 

Upon successful completion of a CEP program, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN licensure examination.

Nurses who have completed their BSN or MSN are highly valued by potential employers. CEP graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to begin their nursing career with a degree that will promote professional success and advancement.

Selective 入学s 程序: 的 concurrent enrollment programs (CEP) are selective admissions. Students must meet additional requirements beyond the traditional Associate of Applied Science in 护理 requirements. Students must complete the following to be considered:

• Attend a mandatory information session.  查看一个 在线日历 with information session dates.
• Download the CEP program of choice brochure linked above
• Complete the required prerequisites for both the Associate of Applied Science in 护理 AND the university of choice.
• Complete Accuplacer Reading assessment.
• Students must complete the National League for 护理 (NLN) 护理 Entrance Exam with Proctor360. 
  • Students may take the NLN 护理 Entrance Exam two times a year. Each exam is good for one year from the date the student took the exam.

• Once prerequisite coursework is complete and the application window opens, students can apply through the MyPima application portal.
• 程序 information is communicated via PCC student email, it is imperative to check your PCC student email address. Please ensure that your personal information is up to date with the College should you need to be contacted.
• Applicants are selected based upon prerequisite GPA and nursing entrance exam scores. Selection is decided by a defined point system. Students are strongly encouraged to apply regardless of the number of points self-calculated.
• Students not selected for admission are encouraged to re-apply the following semester.
• Application deadlines: 的 application deadline for the Spring semester is June 1 (application window is April 1 – June 1). Application deadline for the Fall semester is February 1 (application window is Dec 1 – February 1).
